Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. We are excited about all that this new school year has to offer and look forward to working with our students and families as we focus on continuous improvement in teaching and learning, and all areas of our school environment. We look forward to seeing your academic and personal growth while you are a student at Tennessee Middle School.
On a personal level, I would like to thank our returning students and families for the continuous prayers last year as I dealt with a severe health condition that kept me away from the school for the majority of the year. I would also like to commend my administrative team for doing a phenomenal job in my absence.
This year we will renew our commitment to excellence in all we do, with a resolute expectation that all students can learn and succeed! I am truly excited about all that this school year has to offer including new CTE classes that will help ensure our students are given the best educational experiences to be critical thinkers, socially- responsible citizens, and be emotionally and academically ready for the next grade level and ultimately high school and life.
I encourage you to become active members in our PTA and the Viking Family and look forward to seeing you on campus for academic and extracurricular activities.
